A la Une this week, discover a new activity : letterboxing.
Find out what it is and how to practice it, the origins in Dartmoor Forest,
the sites in the US and if you are interested, go and meet some
letterboxers in Paris this saturday. In the news, read about D-Day 60th
anniversary, which will take place next Sunday, with a visit of G.W.Bush
and lots of safety measures : read articles about it from newspapers from
various countries and discover two useful sites for class activities.
Primary school children will enjoy expressing their emotions
through painting and creating a Summer Memory Book. May 31st is World No
Tobacco Day each year : discover sites and pictures to work on this topic
with your students. Read also about summer camps, South Africa, the
Iditarod races in the snow, and Walt Whitman. Then read two articles from a
MIT research group about new media and social changes, and take part in the
