The assignment

You can work on your own or with a friend, at home or at school, in your free periods.

Go to the 'States Project' page:

Choose a state in the USA. The one you prefer.

Then find sites that best describe all the aspects of this state.

Write a list of addresses of interesting sites or pages to make your friends discover everything about this state, with four lines of explaination for each address, saying why you chose it. ( at least 5 addresses)

The result

You can either make a web page or a word file with the results, or write it on a paper if you can't do otherwise.

you must give me a paper copy of the page on Tursday September the 23rd.

After correction, you will present your work to the class.

The reward

You will get three marks for this work : one for the page, and one for the oral presentation, and one for the notes you will take about your friends' oral presentations.

Your productions will be published on the web and shown as an example to other teachers and pupils.

Option

If you feel more interested in another subject, you can build a webquest on it, provided you find 5 to 6 addresses best describing the different aspects of your subject.
