Can we prevent pollution?

 
    For a lot of people pollution can't be stopped. In my opinion pollution can be reduced. New technologies, such as water and wind energy, can help to reduce pollution .
 
    So a lot of people think pollution is inevitable in modern life. For example they think cars are essential to travel and work. For these people, pollution is unescapable if we want to progress. But it  triggers global warming of our planet. Part of the West Antartic ice sheet rests precariously on the sea floor. As the sea warms, the ice might become destabilized, break up and melt.    

    In my opinion we can stop or at least reduce pollution. First, we should stop using cars because the number of cars on earth will double by 2030 if we don't do anything. But I'm confident, new technologies will find ecological energy.

    If we don't stop pollution now our children will live in a world without plants, without drinking water and clean air and if pollution continues to destroy the ozone layer and accelerates global warming, the sea level will rise and drown us all.
