Personnal life

I was born in France in 1974. I went to study at the University Joseph Fourier in Grenoble, France. Between 1995 and 2002 I obtained two M.Sc. degrees in Population Biology and in Molecular Cellular Biology. In 2002, I obtained a Master in Biomathematics (also called Theoretical Biology, or Mathematical Biology) at the University Pierre et Marie Curie (Parie VI) and University of Paris Diderot (Paris VII).
In 2002, I started my Ph.D. thesis in the Chloroplast envelope membranes group, headed by doctor Jacques Joyard, at the Laboratoire de Physiologie Cellulaire Végétale at the CEA-Grenoble, Grenoble. Under the direction of Dr Eric maréchal, my thesis research focused on the development of theoretical and numerical mathematical tools for the genome comparison. In April 2006, I obtained my Ph.D. degree.
That same year, I joined the Epigenetic and parasites group headed by Dr Hakimi at the Dr Cesbron's Adaptation and Pathogenesis of Microorganisms laboratory. This year was funded by the Fondation pour la Recherche Médicale.
In 2007, I joined the Institut National de la Recherche Agronomique (INRA) as a research scientist and came back at the Laboratoire de Physiologie Cellulaire Végétale at the CEA-Grenoble, Grenoble, headed by Dr Marilyn Vantard (the current head of the lab is Dr Norbert Rolland).

I am a member of the editorial board of the Evolutionary Bioinformatics journal since 13 february 2009.
I am a member of the editorial board of the TheScientificWorldJOURNAL since 29 august 2011.
