Nicholas de Meinill
The seal is defaced. There is an indication of two bars gemelles
Nicholas succeeded his father in 1299.
He served against the Scots and was probably present at the Battle of Boroughbridge, 1322. He died in this year.
Nicholas appears in The Falkirk Roll, H77, & St George's Roll E18, where he bears
Azure three bars gemelles and a chief or
Stephen de Meinill, died 1269, bears the same arms in Glover's Roll, B125
