Insect models

Our laboratory is at the LEGS (CNRS) since the beginning of 2013. We work mainly on two insect species:

• Drosophila melanogaster to study the physiology of their taste system and its role in the feeding behavior.
• Tenebrion molitor to study how the food diet is affecting their growth.

Before that, our laboratory was hosted at INRA Versailles, in the group PISC. We studied there Ostrinia nubilalis and other insects like Spodoptera littoralis and Lobesia botrana (Denis Thiéry, INRA Bordeaux, France), in order to better understand insect-plants relations.
