This private hotel was built in 1899 for the comtesse de Montessuy. Besides Louis-XV ornaments one can notice some of Lavirotte's favourite fancies, such as the stoneware pillars on the 1st floor, used one more time in the 2nd floor in the 29 avenue Rapp & also at the Hôtel Noël ('avenue de Messine) for the terrace. I personnaly dislike the wrought iron patterns on the ground floor, rather clumsy. On the other hand, the shapes of the 3rd floor windows are an absolute delight. The Hotel became la casa del fascismo in the '30s then the Liceo Italiano Leonardo da Vinci, so the hotel was strongly modified.
