Mukunda Hills will soon host tigers. This new reserve was created 2 years ago to serve as a haven for tigers in "surplus" Ranthambore. This park is an area of 759 km2 situated on the regions of Bhainsrogarh, Darrah, Rawatbhata and the outskirts of Chamba. It is also a natural corridor for migrating tigers from Ranthambore hills by Qualji, Ramgarh and Jawahar Sagar Vishdhari.

In 2014, the census methodology has been refined. It was added to the DNA testing field samples. The photographic process have increased with an increase in the number of cameras. The study areas were extended. 9735 places on 378 118 km2 were covered. The new census showing 2226 tigers, becomes a reliable basis for judging future numbers actually. I also found it necessary to indicate the number of tigers photographed or 1,574 individuals. This figure is unquestionable. The difference is the interpolation of data.

The transfer of villages off the wilderness is an essential key to the survival of large predators, particularly the tiger, for several reasons:

The animal/human cohabition is beneficial to anyone. Human poaching of tigers and their prey with the decline in prey due to poaching, tigers fall back on livestock; villagers then poison tigers "to solve the problem."
The space "left" to tigers does not allow them to live and you end up with animals that wander outside the parks in search of space in which to breed and live.
Finally, the mafias who profit from trafficking remains of tigers, using poverty and the knowledge of the villagers for the places to kill tigers. The speech is simple "tigers kill your cattle, if you kill them we pay you." This is a imparrable argument.

The relocation of villagers outside the parks is an essential tool against poaching.
