MARP scoring systems

When games don't propose a clear way to get a score, we need to find one.

A scoring system has been set up for a lot of games on Marp and can be read in the "special rules" link.

Here is a trial to resume all different type of scoring systems.

 

Categories of games

Scoring

Fighting games

  • Score is 10 x (nb of rounds won) - (nb of rounds lost) [2 rounds to win per fight]
  • Ex : 2-0 , 2-0 , 2-0 , 2-1 , 2-1 , 1-2 will be 11x10 - 4 = 106
Golf games

  • Score = 200 - (nb of strokes to complete 18 holes)
  • Ex : after 18 holes, if total of strokes is 81, score will be 200 - 81 = 119

  • Score = 100 x (nb matchs won) + 50 x (nb matchs tied) + goal difference
  • Ex : 3-0 2-0 2-1 1-0 1-1 0-2 will be 4x100 + 1x50 + (9-4) = 455
  • Note : a victory obtained with penalty kicks will be counted as a tie

1. With a limit of time
  • Score is 100 x (nb matchs won) + 10 x (total game difference) + (point difference in last game)
  • Ex 1 (passsht) : 6/0 * * 1/2 30-15 = 100x3 + 10x(6+6+6-1) + 1 = 471 [NOTE : in this game, if you win the 1st match 6/0, you will skip 2nd & 3rd match which are also counted as wins by 6/0]
  • Ex 2 (swcourt) : 6/4 6/4 5/6 15-40 = 100x2 + 10x(2+2-1) + (-2) = 228 [NOTE : each set starts at 4/4]

2. With a limit of games lost

  • Game is over when you've lost 3 games (vstennis-wldcourt) or 5 games (40love)
  • Score is 100 x (nb sets won) + 10 x (game difference) + (total point difference)
  • Ex 1 : losing 3 games before end of set will be only 20 + total points difference : 5/3 gives 22.
  • Ex 2 : winning 6/2 ending set with a point difference of 24-13 will be 140 + 11 = 151

3. No limit

  • 1 set won = game difference (positive) + 10 [ex : 6/2 will be +14]
  • 1 set lost = game difference (negative) - 10 [ex : 4/6 will be -12]
  • 1 match won = 100 + total of sets scores [ex : 6/4 3/6 6/1 will be 100+12-13+15=114]
  • 1 match lost = 32 + total of sets scores [ex : losing 3/6 2/6 will be 32-13-14=5]
  • Score is total of (matchs scores) x (level of opponent)
  • Ex : if you win 6/4 6/2 on level 1 and lose 7/5 4/6 1/6 on level 2, score of match #1 is 126, score of match #2 is 32+12-15=17 and final score is 126 + 17x2 = 160

Scoring

  • Score = 100 x distance
  • Ex : if distance is 4.15, score will be 415
gghost
  • Score is (100 for victory in regulation time or 50 for overtime) + goal difference
  • Ex : 8-3 in regulation will be 105 ; 3-4 after overtime will be 49 ; of course defeat in regulation doesn't count

  • Score is highest round reached (not the highest level because there is 3 rounds per level)
  • Ex : if you lose on level 11 round 31, score will be 31
hattrick
  • Score is (100 for victory in regulation time or 50 for overtime) + goal difference
  • Ex : 8-3 in regulation will be 105 ; 3-4 after overtime will be 49 ; of course defeat in regulation doesn't count
lagunar
  • Score = 10 x distance
  • Ex : if distance is 1118.8, score will be 11188
mosyougi
  • Score is number of pawns taken
  • Ex : with 8-2 8-5 5-3 2-5, score will be 8+8+5+2 = 23
otwalls
  • You choose your difficulty ; a coefficient N is applied : N=1 (easy) or 3 (medium) or 10 (pro)
  • Score = (nb of points scored) x N - (nb of points lost)
  • Ex : if you win 11-4 with medium difficulty, score will be 11x3 - 4 = 29 ; if you win 11-7 with pro difficulty, score will be 11x10 - 7 = 103
overtop
  • As maximum time possible is 4 mn 20 = 260 s , score is 100 x (260 - time in seconds)
  • Ex : if your time is 3'35"12, score will be 100 x (260 - 215.12) = 4488
potopoto
  • Score is 1000 x (nb of stages completed) - (nb of seconds after last stage completed)
  • Ex : if you complete stage 3 in 4'24", score will be 1000x3 - 264 = 2736
primella
  • Score is 10000 x N + F - (L-1)x(N-1)x100
  • N = nb of last level finished (all cards used)
  • F = final score when you can read "continue?" (usually negative, but contrarily to sadari, subtraction of (N-1)x100 by card stops when you just pass under 0)
  • L = nb of cards left on screen when you can read "continue?"
  • Ex : if you lose at end of level 6 with -250 and 6 cards left, score is 60000-250-5x500=57750
sadari
  • Score is 10000 x N + F
  • N = nb of last level finished (all blocks used)
  • F = final score when you can read "continue?" (usually negative, except if you die outpassing the deadline)
  • Ex : if your lose at end of level 7 being negative with -1230, score will be 68770 ; but if you die (outpassing the deadline) during level 7 with a positive score of 510, score is only 60510
spiker
  • Score is (nb of points won) x 10 - (nb of pts lost)
  • Ex : if you win 11-6, score will be 11x10 - 6 = 104
