Arp Banjo
#29 2006
Exceptionally this is a 4
string banjo, which I don't usually
make, for a dynamic and inventive
young musician in Lyon who was ready
to try something different of what
is usually seen. He agreed on this
project based on the work of famous
artist Hans Arp (1886-1966). Most
of the inlay patterns are taken from
his work and are arranged on the
neck to tell a simple little story,
"old as the world" (as we say in
French).
All inlays are from different type
of shell.
As you noticed there is a microphone flush with the fingerboard , there will also be another one just above the bridge, like on electric guitars.
