I made this short neck for a friend on a 12in vintage rim with a simple and cheap archtop tone ring .
Nylon strings, calfskin head.

Not much improvisation here... Just a moderate tribute to the magnificent Fairbanks Electric and Cole Eclipse banjos of the golden era.
