Bone triangle Banjo
#51 2017
The neck was made on a simple 10,5 in vintage spun-over rim. It is black
walnut finished with Tung oil (instead of varnish) which gives him a smooth
and confortable touch.
Steel strings, calfskin head.
The idea was to do a similar banjo to the Narrow Head banjo #46, but with triangles, made out of bone, instead of circles and with steel strings instead of nylon. They could be seen as twins. The head shape is slightly non symetrical.
