About the work

His painting is placed between byzantine style and the
electronic digital process
He has been painting in this style since 1957.
His work starts by a research on paper and water color in
classic style without any preliminar drawing; then he goes over
to the painting, wich is generally in oil in the mosaic style.
One oil-painting requests three and eight months of work.
His work consists in playing with different grounds, and
differents shapes of small squares of various sizes in order to
give the perspective.The play of colours through these
different small squares finishes the shape and amplifies the
depth of the subject.
