Anacamptis champagneuxii belongs to Anacamptis morio group. It differs by a small and geniculate lip with a white basal part devoid of purple spots or only almost invisible ones.

This is a mediterranean orchid not wide-spread but it can be locally very abundant.

Flowering season from March to May.
