Cephalanthera damasonium is rather wide-spread particularly in the eastern part of France.

It is easily recognizable with its large white or pale yellow flowers with a yellow-orange lip. Leaves are spread and smaller than the distance between nodes.

This orchid can be found in woodlands or in copses.

Flowering season lasts from May to June.
