Actually Soft Starter executed from : 0.5kW / 110V to 62MW / 11KV
Possibility to reduce in some case the starting current on the grid to : 1,5 x FLC During the starting time the FCMA Soft Starter control a constant starting current, in the same time the voltage is increasing, giving enought torque to the motor to reach full speed stepless before to be by-passed without opening the power circuit. With the rugged FCMA technology this could be done without any electronic or moving parts. Low Voltage : FCMA Soft Starter is available in line or in the start connection (in association of a start delta start) for requirement of very low starting current. Medium & High Voltage : FCMA Soft Starter is available in line or neutral connections, Energy Recovery and Magnetic Compensation could be added to reduce the starting current down to 1,5 FLC.

Rotor Controler starter already executed : up to 8MW
The RC (Rotor Controler) connected to the rotor maintains a constant current and torque of the motor during the starting period so a step less acceleration of the motor is achived. The rotor Controller has a built-in run mode by-pass contactor. In order to have the Rotor Controller back in operation, it is just required to open the by-pass contactor.
ASR (Automatic Slip Regulator) model is available for case of overloaded torque. In this model the starter is not completely by-passed, one part stays in line to limit the current contineously. In case of torque overload the ASR can operate instantaneously and limit the motor current without any external action to open contactors or move electrodes.
Having no moving parts and no electronics, Slippring starters are robust, don't need maintenance and available in indoor or weather proof models.

NEW PRODUCT ! DFCL (Dynamic Fault Current Limiter) is an electromagnetic FCL developped during 2009 by our company. We can say that DFCL achieve the ideal fault current limiter caracteristics. The DFCL is a simple and reliable device due to its inherently simple and rugged construction operating at normal ambient temperatures from -20 to 55°C (instead of cryogenic temperature of -195°C required for Superconducting FCL). It is intelligent in that it offers impedance proportioal to the short circuit current without any need for external control. So by this it is compatible with relay coordination and discrimination. It reduces the first peak as well as the rms value of short circuit current proportionally in less than 5ms. Post fault clearance reset is automatic and done in one cycle (20ms). Consecutive short circuits can be effectively limited. The DFCL can play a very critical role for the smart grid reliability and safety.
