I made a new fingerboard for this plain J H Buckbee style banjo. It has no name on it and no serial number. The neck was bowed and not interesting to me, so I did not hesitate to modify it.
What is interesting about this banjo is the inside of the rim where a new wood (?) ring has been glued a long time ago making the skin surface smaller. With an alisier wood bridge it now has a very sharp, loud and dry sound, as far as I can judge...
