Welcome to Painted Spirits Studio, a place dedicated to custom painted model horses. My name is Agnès Fichelle. I am a french artist and this is my personal model horse website. These albums show a selection of my creations done in soft pastels and acrylics. The models I paint are from Breyer, Stone, Hartland and Blue Box as well as from various European and American artists sculptors. I started the hobby in 2003. I entered the world of equine art when I travelled to the USA in 1996. There, I purchased my first Breyer horse! Since then, I have collected them with some Stone models which are also very realistic and high quality equine models. The theme of my collection is Paints and Appaloosas. These elegant horses are the symbol of the Western horse world. Each horse is a unique one as there is an infinite combination of coat patterns mixing white and the other colors. I am currently doing all colors. However, I have a little experience with dapples and just start doing them. Of course, I really love the Paint and the Appaloosa patterns as they are my favorites. Through the links "What's new" and "In progress" you will discover several projects to come, custom order in progress and models ready to be painted available in the studio.
