Adam de Well
Adam served in Flanders in 1297, and in the Scottish Wars. He was present at Falkirk, 1298, and Caerlaverock, 1300.
He died in 1311.

where he bears
Or a lion rampant double queued sable
His son, Philip de Well, died 1322, bears or a lion rampant double queued sable a label gules in the Galloway Roll, GA88. In the Stirling Roll ST22, after his father's death, he bears the arms without the label.
