The rim is a modern (from B Rickard) 12in Tubaphone without bracket
band with not too many hooks. I wanted to try to get rid off too much
brightness of the usual Tubaphone rims
Traditionnal inlays mixed with Angel inlays drawn from scupture photos (do
you recognize the origin of the angel on the scooped end? it comes from a
famous scupture in a famous church in Roma...)
On the reverse side I drawed a "Grotesque" (on the heel cap) from several different sources, the head "Dolphin" comes from a scupture found on internet.
