YN Tubaphone
#32 2008
The neck was made on a 11in
Vega Tubaphone for a French friend.
This is my own version of the
classical Flower Pot as often seen
on these Tubaphones. The first fret
inlay is very close to an inlay by
Doug Unger; I liked it so much that
I wanted to make one, once. The YN
initials on the heel are the
initials of this musician friend
that banjo was made for. And Y & R,
on last fret of the neck are the
initials of Him and his Wife,
because you always see them both on
Music Festivals, and everywhere. She
does not play music but enjoys it.
You will certainly meet them in
Clifftop one of these days...
