All the following snapshots were taken 500m uphill, where we have a great view of Toulon, La Seyne, Saint Mandrier, Six-Fours and Sanary.

1. Sanary a very nice fishermen’s harbour where Thomas Mann and other German émigrés once lived.

2. Le Brusc (the old fishermen’s village of Six-Fours)

3. Les Embiez (the islands of Six-Fours)

4. The Forest (leading to an uphill church, Notre-Dame du Mai).

5. The Peninsula of Saint Mandrier

6. Toulon and La Seyne (Toulon is France’s leading military harbour and La Seyne used to have shipyards).
