This is the LOPATA portion of my family tree. It was initially compiled on paper in 1961 with my grandfather Albert (Abraham) LOPATA, and I've erratically maintained it through the past 45 years or so, with the help of cousins over 3 continents. It is however quite incomplete, as the family has branched out exponentially through 4 or even 5 generations since then, and I would deeply appreciate all relevant input regarding family members past and present: names, dates of birth, etc. Hope you enjoy this sketch in its present state.

A technical note before you move on, about TREE GRAPHICS: you can OPEN  the whole graphical tree, then watch, zoom, pan, and even click through it by clicking on any little green tree icon next to any person's name on,the page, with the provision of the following :
1/ I strongly suggest you use the FIREFOX browser (if you don't have it yet, please install it from the www.mozilla.org website) ; otherwise, if using Internet Explorer, you could download a small utility, called Adobe SVG viewer, which will self-install - you may first have to click on a banner on top of your IE window to allow IE to display the instructions for this short procedure. (or you can fetch the utility program directly form this address: http://download.adobe.com/pub/adobe/magic/svgviewer/win/3.x/3.03/en/SVGView.exe)
2/ the graph viewer window (bottom right portion of my webpage) is set by default to PDF format, which allows you to zoom and pan with all Internet browsers (and save the graph too for offline viewing), BUT, if you wish to browse the graph and also CLICK on it to link to a person's data, you'll have to switch to the SVG viewer (cf. above) by toggling the small SVG/PDF button in the right hand corner of the graph section. This is all done seamlessly with Firefox, as mentioned above.
