How it started

The creator and executive producer is MATT GROENING. He changed television forever when he brought animation back to primetime with this immortal nuclear family.
Previously, he was best known for his "life in Hell" cartoon strip, an irrevent portrayal of broken life which started in 1977 and still appears in more than 250 newspapers worldwide.
Groening,a native of portland, Oregon, resides in Los Angeles.

The Legend
Groening created this cartoon strip in fifteen minutes in a waiting  room. Each episode is made of about 15800 patterns and needs 150 people and 20 weeks of work!! The first episode was "Mortal christmas". In this episode, Christmas appears rather gloomy for the Simpson family...

Homer.J.Simpson is a worker drone at Springfield Nuclear Power Plant. He constantly gives bad advices, but is an extremely loyal and devoted family man. He loves TV,bowling,donuts...and what he is the most likely to say "D'oh!" and "Hmmm Beer!"

Marge is the thread that holds the Simpsons family together, the laundry detergent that keeps them clean, and the high-powered notary buffer that leaves them with a clear proctive finish. She's the most loving of the Simpsons, easy to recognize with her large hive of blue hair. She likes Ringo star and Homey. What she is the most likely to say is "I don't think that would be a very good idea , Homey".

Bartholome.J.Simpson, or Bart or his secret identity "Bartman". He's ten years old. Among Bart's recent talents, are teaching a hamster to fly and performing "Jingle Bells" with his armpit.....

Groening's animated creation, the Simpson Family was a huge pop culture phenomenon in the 1990s.This phenomenon is still not outdated. This rough caricature of American society embodied by the little yellow family is still ever so funny !

Good bye !
