Bonne lecture!

CAMPING TIPS & STORIES! (The Learning Company's CLASSROOM FLYER,July 30th)
--------------------------------------
I have already printed the Camping Checklist offered here; very useful! Practical info on just about every camping topic is offered here, as well as a few amusing camping tales! If you're a novice camper, you could make good use of this site. Seasoned campers will also enjoy it.

SCHOOL NOTES (The Learning Company's CLASSROOM FLYER,August 27th)
--------------------------------------
One reader recently suggested this site, and it is definitely worth looking into further. The service is free (registration is required), and the idea is for teachers to post homework and school info on the web. Parents and students enter their zipcode to review teacher messages, homework assignments, etc. Seems like a great and easy way for educators to have an immediate link to their class families and students. Also, click on the Flashcards link to create cards for math, spelling review, etc.

Classroom Connect is redefining itself - yes, that's how fast life evolves on the information superhighway - a premier educator's resource is already experiencing a metamorphosis - and adding this second site for the learning community (the original gold mine is still thriving at http://www.classroom.com ); an interactive component to the familiar Classroom Connect site - check out the teacher database and reach out to colleagues!
