Mountain Banjo
#59 2024
I made this mountain banjo with spare wood I had which were too small so I had to glue them together to make these 3 layers (3 x 6 pieces of wood) with veneer as a cover on front and back.
The neck is very simple without a finger board, just the wood of the
neck (walnut). Direct vintage pegs that could be replaced by geared ones for
easier tuning, some day... Steel strings (for the moment...)
Black pearl inlays are of the same shape as the rim, not round.
