REVEL BANJOS

Banjo with triangles
#28  2006

The neck was made to fit an English 12in vintage pot. For the inlays, the little heel carving and the head shape, it is more or less in the style of the early Fairbanks of the 1880's as seen on the site of Bill Michall (see the link page). I have added mosaic inlays of my own and an extention of the scooped end to give a rest to the thumb when it hits the 5th string.
Steel strings, old Clifford Essex calfskin head.
