DREAMTIME
When Flora Devi, the Indian storyteller dancer meets up with Tüüp the Guyanese storyteller musician, the tale becomes a dance, a melody, a dream.
The audience, whatever their age, become travellers in space and time.
At the beginning there was the Dreamtime,
the time of Creation.
Each tree, mountain, animal and human being had his own story.
Man could talk to the animals and the animals could talk to Man ...
In Australia, the red earth is dry. The animals are looking for the Billabongs - the water holes. Tiddledee the huge frog tries to drink them all up. Who can stop him? That very clever bird, the Kookaburra? The cuddly Koala bear? The lollopy Kangaroo? It's up to you to guess...
The show is over .The audience leave with memories of campfires burning, chirping cicadas, and dogs barking as the village storytellers drift on to continue their quest.
The performance is for all, young and old, grandmother and grandson, father and daughter, cat, dog and all living things.
