Audio capture  MP3 CD creation  Problems met MP3 or MP3PRO Audio casette to CD
MP3 or MP3PRO
Is it necessary to use the new MP3PRO ? 
 
  • After numerous attempts here is our conclusions:
  • The audio quality improvement with our material does not allow to distinguish in a significant way the recordings in MP3 or MP3PRO.
  • MP3 to MP3PRO has no impact on the audio quality, it is necessary to use the original files or the wav file. 
  • At the same audio quality the weight of files in MP3PRO is really lower, but is not necessary due to when we use DVD THOSIBA SD-210E only 254 files is readied. 
Please note also that file MP3PRO is not audible with our DVD THOSIBA SD-210E.

By conclusion: we have no advantage to use for the moment MP3PRO for our  applications.
 

MP3Pro

Audio cassettes to CD
To transfer the old vinyl discs or the audio cassettes, it is necessary to connect the hi-fi system with the computer.

To record we shall use Nero Wave Editor:

  • Open the console of recording,Choose the rate of recording 44100 Hz ( CD), the resolution 16 bits and marked stereo recording. 


To obtain a  same sound volume of compilation’ files it is necessary that every file is equalized. 

For it we shall use the function “normalize” of Nero Wave Editor:

  • Select all, go to volume, normalize and adjust the level by appreciate the sound volume " in the ear "
It is recommended to verify the audio level of all files with Winamp for example.
