The
objective is the creation of videoCD in order to be able to view our photos
on a television set by using a DVD player.
The computer
is only used for the creation of the videoCD.
The DVD
player has the same function as a projector of slides.
For that
all the photos available must be numerical, that requires a work of digitalization
for our old photos on paper edition or slides. |

The DiapoNégaScan
adapter on the scanner |
A
not very expensive solution exists to digitize slides or negative
film with a scanner, it is the DiapoNégaScan adapter.
It is a
pyramidal open box which is posed on the the scanner glass.
Inside
this box, a set of mirrors high performances, will recover the light emitted
by the scanner, and will return it towards by crossing the slide or negative
film.
You must
only place the DiapoNégaScan on the scanner surface of analysis,
and to adjust a screw in order to collect the maximum of light.
In spite
of the simplicity of the device the result is remarkable. |

Slide must
be scan at 1200 dpi |
By
fix the resolution of the scanner with 1200 dpi, we obtain a 10x15 cm digitized
photo with a resolution of 300 dpi. That is appropriate for our applications.
If the image
is too clear, one of the two filters supplied with the device allows to
improve the result. |
