For each application we will choose the best software to reach the fixed goals. 

Here we should use NERO with the menu function.

Each page of the menu will include the thumbnails and an identification number with the photo description. 

To visualize the desired photo it will be enough to enter the number of the photo with the remote control of DVD player. 

This application remains limited because only 99 photos are taken into account with the option menu.

Information must be clear and brief. 

One of the applications relates to the presentation and the results of the season Formule 1. 

The realization of pages was made with Picture It. 

For each Grand Prix, two pages were creating. 

• One page for the presentation of the circuit and the result of the session of qualification.
• Second page for the result of the race including, a summary of the race with photos and the classification of the 3 first one. 

With Ulead DVD PictureShow we have the possibility of putting several years of competition on a single CD. 

The ideal realization would be as in the professional slide shows to have an audio file for comment, which also activate the visualization of next photos. 

Regrettably softwares at our disposal does not allow that and one file with timing adjusted with the release of the photos present two important difficulties :

• The timing of the comment is a boring operation 
• Times of pause between two photos are not always precise during the reading by the DVD player 

To avoid these problems the chosed solution is to place our photos and to add a short comment. 

With that nothing prevents from adding background music during visualization. 

With Ulead DVD PictureShow who allows having several slide shows on the same CD, the photos of holidays can be for example split into several parts.
